The Soil Health and Fertility Management (SHFM) project is designed to tackle a range of challenges related to soil health, fertility, and climate risks within ACC woredas in Ethiopia. Its overarching goal is to advance climate-smart soil health and fertility management practices across Ethiopia’s agricultural landscapes by facilitating support, coordination, and collaboration with both national and international agencies and experts.
The SHFM project focuses on introducing various interventions and technologies to smallholder farmers in ACC woredas across different regions. Additionally, it conducts numerous capacity-building trainings and facilitates dialogue forums at both regional and federal levels, in partnership with regional Agricultural Transformation Centers and the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). Through these efforts, the SHFM project endeavors to foster resilience and sustainability in Ethiopia’s agricultural sector.
